Hello everyone! Here's a story that's bound to get you thinking. Recently, a Secret Service counter-sniper is raising some serious alarms within the agency following an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. This sniper, in a leaked email, is calling for major changes, including the firing of five "high-level supervisors." The sniper's message is clear: the agency needs to reform before another attempt occurs. So, what happened? The sniper believes the failure wasn't due to lack of commitment from the team but because their [supervisors ignored critical concerns](. The sniper's email, obtained by Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics, lays it all out: "Failure is not an option, and on 7/13/24, WE failed. Not because of commitment or sense of dedication. But because our SUPERVISORS (aka leadership) knew better and thought our concerns were less than important." This sniper didn't hold back, demanding the removal of these supervisors and warning that another assassination attempt could happen before the November election. Pretty intense, right? The email was sent to the entire Uniformed Division and has since been circulating with parts of it posted on social media by Crabtree, with the sender's name redacted for privacy. The sniper's frustrations were clear to see. "This agency NEEDS to change, if not now, WHEN?" they wrote. The sniper expressed deep disappointment in the leadership, stating that despite conveying concerns to supervisors, including the Captain of the Counter Sniper team, the feedback was dismissed. "Sadly we have fallen short for YEARS," the sniper lamented. "We just look good doing it." The sniper also shared a personal perspective, feeling ashamed of their affiliation with the Secret Service after the incident. "The team I was once proud to be a part of is something I have to somehow hide as I move into my next career. Who wants to hire a USSS CS guy who failed? That's the public perception I'm now faced with." ?????? EXCLUSIVE: A Secret Service counter sniper sent an email Monday night to the entire Uniformed Division (not agents) saying he will not stop speaking out until "5 high-level supervisors (1 down) are either fired or removed from their current positions." And every supervisor is doing it right now." Crabtree reported that a source told her the agency acted quickly to delete the email. On July 30, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe Jr. testified before the Senate, presenting reenactment photos and addressing the situation. This testimony could be a step towards addressing the deep-rooted issues within the agency. Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe Jr. brings out reenactment photos from the Butler, PA assassination attempt: "Looking left, why was the assailant not seen? When we were told that building was going to be covered.."
