Hi {NAME}, Stu and I first launched Smart Insights in 2010, to help marketers navigating huge shifts

Hi {NAME}, Stu and I first launched Smart Insights in 2010, to help marketers navigating huge shifts in consumer expectations around web, digital, and social brand experiences. Now, we are all witnessing digital platforms and technology shifting again. Particularly with the recent growth in use of Generative AI. We regularly hear from customers asking for advice on adapting in these new environments. Our [AI for Marketing Learning Path]( is one example of new content developed to support our members' changing needs. Despite so many new developments, the fundamentals of marketing are still the same. For us, it starts with empowering our members to apply a careful balance of both top-level strategic techniques and actionable, customer-centric data to compete in their markets. Some marketing 'experts' give recommendations on AI (and other aspects of marketing) that still fail to get the essentials right. They go straight to recommending different digital marketing channels, but they miss fundamentals that are central to Smart Insights' best-practice. E.g. starting with the customer, aligning the strategy with your business goals, and using a data-driven approach... The mistakes of ignoring strategy can be costly. But sometimes it's hard to know where to start. That's why I've published a new free blog outlining a [simple 6-step structure for digital marketing strategies]( that can be applied to almost every sector. Interested? Starter and Pro Members can download our[digital marketing plan workbook]( for strategic planning, and Pro Members can also access these exclusive fully-worked [industry examples](. Don't forget, as a Free Member, you can book a [membership demo]( any time to find out more about the wide range of marketing strategy tools and templates available in our [Business Pro Membership](. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
