Samsung and Google confirm launch event dates, and ChatGPT fails the jumpstart test Created for {EMAIL} | [Web Version]( June 28, 2024 CONNECT WITH TECH RADAR  [Facebook]( [X]( [Instagram]( [Youtube]( [Tech Radar]( [SIGN UP]( ⋅ [WEBSITE]( [] Welcome to the Week in Review [] Week in review intro Sometimes the big tech news of the week can be less about what's revealed and more about what's coming soon, and in the past few days we've seen a slew of event announcements that have given the TechRadar team a clearer idea of how we'll be spending the next few weeks – namely Samsung's next Unpacked, Google's next Pixel event, and of course Amazon Prime Day. On the first of those, we now know all of the details for when we'll see (presumably) the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6, and hopefully the Galaxy Ring. And very excited we are too. On the second, it seems we may well see the Pixel 9 far sooner than we thought, which would be one of those rare instances of a big tech company actually surprising us. And on the latter... well, it's no surprise that Prime Day will be in July, but we do now know the dates for the mega-sale. We've also been hands-on with some great devices this week, chief among them the first CoPilot AI PCs and laptops – we've got reviews of two of them below, and we think one of them might be the best laptop released this year. We also put in some hours testing the excellent OnePlus Pad, and somehow also had time to bring you our [Smart Home Week]( – why not check it out, and spend your weekend turning your home into a futuristic, tech-filled wonder.
