But if you still need convincing, one look at this week's headlines should do just that. It was a week that started with OpenAI releasing a new version of ChatGPT, and it looks like a massive upgrade for what was already a seriously impressive chatbot. That was then followed by an AI-dominated edition of Google's I/O developer conference, with barely a hint of hardware in sight. So much was announced over those two days that we're still catching our breath, and you can read about all of the most exciting announcements below. Apple hasn't yet moved fully into the AI space – though we're pretty sure that's coming at WWDC next month – but it was also a big week for the Cupertino giant, with its new iPads going on sale and with reviews of both the Pro and Air hitting the web.
