Here’s a summary of the key changes: Terms of Service - We are providing information about new product offerings like live events. - We are more clearly delineating between the responsibilities and rights that apply to students and those that apply to teachers. - We are updating our arbitration agreement to be more specific about the procedures for resolving a dispute between Skillshare and our users. - We added information about export controls and sanctions laws and how they apply. - We’ve made updates throughout to improve clarity and readability. Teacher Rules and Requirements Our Teacher Rules and Requirements apply specifically to Skillshare teachers and: - Define the rights and licenses that Skillshare provides to Skillshare teachers, as well as the rights and licenses that Skillshare Teachers provide to Skillshare when they upload classes or other content to our platform. - Specify the rules with which Skillshare teachers must comply when they teach on the Skillshare platform. - Provide information about how we pay Skillshare teachers and what steps teachers need to take to be eligible to receive payment. Privacy Policy - We’ve updated our Privacy  Policy to comply with new consumer data privacy laws in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Utah, and Virginia. By continuing to use our websites and/or mobile applications on or after May 1, 2023, you accept and agree to these terms and policies.
