But I hope you read this one all the way to the end because it's a little different. I'd like to start by saying thank you, friend. I’m beyond grateful for this incredible grassroots team – made up of thousands of working folks who believe that together, we can make a difference for our country. Whether you’ve shown up to an event, visited a stop on my bus tour, chipped in a few bucks, or volunteered to knock on doors, I’m proud to have you alongside me in this fight. And this is a fight unlike any other, friend. It’s the closest Senate race in the country, and it will ultimately decide control of the chamber. Now, I don't like to think much about Democrat or Republican, or left or right – I'll work with anyone if it means making the lives of Ohioans and working families better. But this year, the choice could not be more clear. I'm running for reelection to increase wages, lower costs, defend our fundamental freedoms, and protect the Dignity of Work. Meanwhile, my opponent thinks he knows how to live your life better than you do. He wants to give his billionaire friends a tax cut, slash programs like Social Security and Medicare, and strip us of our rights. I know we can do better than Bernie Moreno, friend – because I've seen it myself. Growing up in Mansfield, Ohio, I was surrounded by a community of ironworkers, carpenters, auto workers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family's farm – and I saw how getting a good job meant you could build a good life for yourself and your family. But I saw firsthand how corporations lobbied for tax breaks and bad trade deals that shipped Ohio jobs overseas and increased the everyday costs of groceries and medicine. Now who does that serve? Not the teacher in Akron or the nurse in Dayton. And not the thousands of hardworking Americans who get up every day and head to work with the determination to provide for their families, and the hope that their kids will have it a little better than they did. That's why I've devoted my life to fighting for the Dignity of Work – the belief that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you do. Because when you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work. So now I’m in the fight of my life to defend Ohio’s seat and our Senate majority. And as I reflect on this journey, I am filled with so much hope, friend. Because you believe in fighting for the little guy, standing up for working families, and coming together for a brighter future, just like I do. So now, with the finish line in sight, we gotta run through the tape. Polls show this race is statistically tied, which means we need to do everything in our power to get out every last vote and win. So with Election Day just hours away, I’m personally asking one more time, friend: [Will you give $5 now to help us win in Ohio, defend our Senate majority, and continue the fight for the Dignity of Work?]( Together, we fight. Together, we win. In solidarity, [Sherrod]( This email was sent to {EMAIL}. [To unsubscribe from this email list, please click here.]( Friends of Sherrod Brown 605 N.
