I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, in a community of ironworkers, carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family's farm. Today, I live in Cleveland with my wife, Connie, and our two rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter. I’ll be honest with you, friend: Over the years in Ohio, we've seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas because of bad trade deals, prices skyrocketing as wages failed to keep up, and hopes for a comfortable retirement dashed. That's why I've devoted my life to fighting for the Dignity of Work – the belief that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you do. But my MAGA opponent can't say the same. He’s backing terrible pieces of Trump and Vance’s Project 2025, which would eliminate overtime protections and end unions as we know them. It’s an affront to the good folks of Ohio and across America who work hard every day to support themselves and their families. So now I’m in the fight of my life to defend Ohio’s seat and our Democratic Senate majority. I'm down 2 points in a recent poll, and national Republicans are outspending us 2-to-1 to flip this seat. I can't win without your help.
