Last year I launched our beta funnel software to 14 people. My goal was simple. Help them break free from 1:1 retainer based work and sell at scale to groups of people AND make them $10,000 a month (minimum) with 10 hours work This milestone is significant. Because when you’ve done it once and you have a framework to do it again the path in front of you is clear. For many this is the first time clarity has been reached. I remember when I reached that point, it was like a weight had been lifted from me. I had tried a TON of different tactics to get my business moving forward. And every time, it just felt like I was working harder and harder. AND each new method required ANOTHER app or piece of software. The tactics didn’t work, the monthly subscriptions built up AND I was working harder than ever. When I started doing what I’m about to share with you below, things were going OK. I just had no idea how much better things could be. In 2022 we sold over $100,000 worth of group coaching from ONE piece of content (and using the same emails over and over). 9 Steps: 1. Build an audience. There is absolutely no denying that “audience” is THE asset that your business needs for scalable, repeat sales. It’s even easier than you might think, it just requires you to pick a niche AND it doesn’t mean you have to create tons of content (although that helps). When you have an email list and a social following - magic happens. PLUS, you don’t need a MASSIVE audience, you just need massive connection to a small audience. 2. Solve specific problems The number of influencers and businesses I know with HUGE audiences who have NO idea how to monetise their following is upsetting to me. And I’ve repeatedly seen people with tiny audiences (I mean 100 people on their email list) regularly break 6 and 7 figure years without extra work, because they solve specific problems. They don’t talk to their audience about what they do, they talk to their audience about their audience’s problems. Solve specific problems and you’ll have no problem attracting an audience and getting sales. 3. Raise their hands If you’ve ever wondered how you repeatedly promote your products and services, over and over, without advertising. Or if you have no idea how to get people interested in the first place, the best thing you can do is just get them to raise their hands. “Are you a working Mum who wants to quit your job and start a business?” It’s as simple as that. And using email and social media is the PERFECT place to get people to raise their hands. 4. Book calls If you’re not happy selling to people 1:1, you can’t sell to people at scale. The fastest way to get people to buy from you is to book calls, qualify them and close them over a call. Of all the sales promotion methods I know, from discounts to partnerships, webinars and advertising, nothing compares to getting people on a call and closing them. 5. Sell a model And when we sell, we don’t sell what we have, we sell a model. Stop selling consulting or coaching, start selling a specific solution to their problems. If you can ask customers the right questions, understand their motivation for changing and show them a model and method that helps them - you’re already ahead of the competition. Plus it makes marketing and lead generation WAY easier. 6. Re-launch Novelty is overrated. I started sending the SAME emails to the SAME list and guess what…our sales kept getting better! If you have a campaign or message that works, use it again. Launch and re-launch your products using the same campaigns a few times a year (even up to once a week!) and you’ll have no problem getting sales. 7. Build I.P. I.P. is intellectual property. It’s the model that you sell above on step 5. But it goes deeper than that. Rather than just explaining your methods to people and helping them 1:1, start recording content and documenting what you’re doing. Running coaching calls? Doing it 1:1? Start recording those calls and delivering them at scale 8. Deliver at scale Which brings us to step 8. Coaching calls, content, recordings, community, questions…this can all be done at scale, in groups. From one-click sales from new leads (so they can pay and watch previous training) to full courses and group coaching, there’s no need to deliver anything 1:1 anymore. 9. Recurring revenue And the holy grail is recurring revenue. Customers paying monthly for access to scalable, repeatable content. No 1:1 calls, no 1:1 coaching or consulting. As soon as I moved away from “retainers” to a recurring revenue model, delivering content at scale, my life became a whole lot easier. All these steps are simple but few find them easy. At every step there is a decision. How do I build this? What tools do I need to execute this? This all sounds very expensive! How do I sell this new program? How do I deliver all this? My results aren’t typical because most people get stuck on these decisions. But taking action is what got me results. I just STARTED. I guarantee that following even half of these steps will quickly show an uplift in your business and results.
