I bet you haven’t heard of these The first tool I use EVERY day is a little tool called ChatG-- I’m joking. Although I do use ChatGPT literally every day. However the tool I use most is called [Obsidian.md]( [Obsidian.md]( is like what I want the internet to be. It’s essentially a notetaking app that is designed to be your second brain. It’s extremely customisable, but plain and minimalistic at the same time. You can use markdown (md) and hyperlink to documents. You can tag things, create lists, notes, folders…It’s honestly the best app I have. Plus, the single greatest thing on Earth… It’s not a bloody web app. It’s an actual thing that you download and put on your PC and it syncs for FREE because it just uses standard folder structures and file names. So if you have Drive or OneDrive on your computer, it’ll just use that. I love it. Tool Number 2: The best email client in the world This is NOT about [eMClient.com]( - which is the best email client in the world bar none. No - this is about the other email client I use. Google docs. What? My admin manager, Jha (Hi Jha!) copies and pastes the emails that I need to read or respond to in a Google Doc and shares the link with me. I reply in the google doc and she sends that on. The answer is then stored away so we can reference it later. Plus, we upload the answer to our custom “Mike” GPT from ChatGPT so it knows it for later too. I don’t reply to emails in my email client. I reply to what my admin manager tells me to respond to. Via Google Docs. Tool Number 3: How I take notes I am a LOVER of stationery. If you want me to love you, buy me a nice fancy notebook and a pen. Specifically the Uni-Ball Needle 0.7 Black. BUT I have wanted to move more of my notes to a digital format. But I HATE writing on iPads and tablets. Feels like I’m literally scratching the screen, and that I’m rubbing plastic against plastic. Just feels gross. Except the ReMarkable 2 is like writing on paper. In fact, I now prefer writing on my Remarkable than in paper notebooks. It’s all digital, there’s infinite space. Also, there are AMAZING templates for things like brainstorming and note taking. Plus…all my notes can sync to Obsidian. And that’s it. You now know how I run my business. P.S.
