Inside: Shop Pat's spring favorites! [See's Candies®]( [See's Candies®]( [Dear See’s Family,]( [I don’t think it’s too much to say that we all deserve a sweet start to 2023! As my first letter in the new year, I wanted to take this time to say thank you once again for your loyalty to See’s and for trusting us with all your gifting needs. Given our shared experiences of the last three years, I sincerely hope you’ve allowed a little indulgence for yourself as well!]( [It’s hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is already behind us, and now we’re gearing up for Easter. We are making and hand-decorating our signature See’s Easter Eggs, and we are filling our shops with baskets of chocolate bunnies. Whether you purchase online or in one of our shops, See’s is proud to help sweeten your Easter traditions.]( [Since 1921, Quality Without Compromise has been See’s motto and guiding principle. From how we serve our customers, source ingredients, and work together as members of Team See’s, we demand everything we do live up to that motto.]( [Take our ingredients, for example. At See’s, we partner with top-notch suppliers and every ingredient that comes to our facilities is tested and evaluated by our team of Quality Assurance specialists to ensure that not only does the ingredient meet our high standards, but it also tastes delicious. On the exceedingly rare occasion a delivery does not meet our standards, we will not accept it — simple as that.]( [While choice of suppliers is a critical ingredient for us, our dedication to Quality Without Compromise goes well beyond product sourcing. Each Friday, I skip breakfast to leave room for our weekly candy tasting panel. Tough gig, I know! Truly it is an opportunity for the See’s team and me to sample every candy made during that week: evaluating flavor, smell, appearance, and consistency for quality.]( [Because we make literally dozens of batches of fresh candy every day, we are careful to verify that each production run meets our standards. If we determine that a particular run doesn’t make the cut, we don’t hesitate to do what needs to be done — discard the candy as unacceptable and go right back to the kitchen and make it again.]( [I’m very glad to say that our newest piece, Irish Cream, was featured on our tasting panel many times over the last few months as we developed and perfected it. With each new production run, and the tasting that followed, the team looked for a smooth consistency and notes of rich chocolate, vanilla and roasted coffee with a wee bit of just the right Irish spirit flavor.]( [With a name like Patrick, I will fully admit to putting a bit more pressure on getting this new piece, well, as right as rain. We confirmed earlier this year that both the mother and father of our founder, Mary See, were born on the Emerald Isle. So, that made our decision to roll out our newest little bit o’ joy just in time for St. Patrick’s Day as easy as lifting a glass and saying “Cheers!” (or “Slainte” if you really want to do it right!).]( [The discovery of our heritage and our ability to roll out a new piece in our 102nd year of bringing joy is another reason we are proud of our legacy. As we continue to grow, innovate, and expand, we will always deliver on our promise of Quality Without Compromise.]( [Sincerely,]( [Pat Egan signature]( [Pat Egan, President and CEO 210 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080]( [footer_logo]( [Shop Pat’s Spring Favorites]( [My first memories of See’s Candies were as a kid going to the Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo, California. I remember how decorated the shop and the mall were and how excited we were to go into the See’s shop. My sisters and I thought the candy was so fresh, it had to be made in the back. Turns out, we were close. My office (and one of our two candy kitchens) is about 12 miles from that shop, and we make it fresh every day!]( [Now, I get to see our incredible artists hand-decorate our eggs and get to see our bunnies and easter baskets packed with care.]( [Ultimate Easter Surprise Basket]( [“The tie to See’s Candies and Easter traditions is undeniable. I have fond memories of waking up on Easter morning as a child to a See’s Easter basket so this one really brings back good memories. Any of our baskets are kind of a can’t-miss memory maker for little ones!”]( [Shop Now]( [Online Only: Ultimate Easter Surprise Basket]( [Rocky Road Egg]( [“A classic through and through. Our Rocky Road Eggs are still artfully decorated by hand just as they have been since the beginning. Candy Makers carefully hand-decorate each and every egg. It's quite a task — but that care and commitment to quality are what sets See’s apart. I love to gift this treat because of its sweet story and the craftsmanship only we do.”]( [Shop Now]( [Rocky Road Egg]( [Some Bunny Loves You Tin]( [“A fantastic assortment, featuring seasonal sweets and classic favorites, with festive new artwork. Elevated, delicious and joyous — this tin makes for the perfect gift hostess gift. It looks great on the table and includes enough chocolate to share.”]( [Shop Now]( [Some Bunny Loves You Tin]( [YouTube]( [TikTok]( [linkedin]( [Twitter]( [Facebook]( [Instagram]( [Pinterest]( [Find a Shop]( [About See's Candies]( [News & Chews Blog]( [My Account]( [View in Browser]( Download Our App: [Get it on Google Play]( [Download on the App Store]( This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
