[View this email in your browser]( Australian Bushfire Appeal Here’s how you can help Australia is currently experiencing unprecedented bushfires across much of the country. You may not know it but Rome2rio is actually based in Melbourne, Australia and like all Australians, our team has been deeply affected by the most destructive bushfire season our country has ever seen. No doubt you’ll have seen the shocking footage in the news. Many lives have been lost, as well as over two thousand homes and an estimated billion native Australian animals. As impacted communities grapple with coming to terms with their losses and others remain on high alert, our team expressed a heartfelt desire to help. To support the bushfire relief and recovery effort, Rome2rio is tripling every dollar donated by our team to the below bushfire appeals. Additionally, we’ll be driving awareness and encouraging users to donate using our global presence. If you've thought about donating to those in need, but not sure where, we’ve compiled the following list of charities and organisations that can make a difference: - [National Bushfire Disaster Appeal]( - [Australian Red Cross]( - [The Salvation Army]( - [Victoria Bushfire Disaster Appeal]( - [Victorian Country Fire Authority]( - [New South Wales Rural Fire Service]( - [WIRES Wildlife Rescue]( - [World Wildlife Fund Australia]( - [Zoos Victoria]( - [Wildlife Victoria]( Please feel free to share the list with your family and friends - there is so much to be done and so much we can do together in these times of crisis. Thanks for taking the time to read this, we value your support during this difficult time.
