It added 236,000 jobs in March, and the current unemployment rate is still a measly 3.5%. The latest annual inflation number, at 5%, is at the lowest level since May 2021. A healthy job market and cooling inflation are signs of a healthy economy. This tells me that we’re nowhere near the end of this cycle yet.
