When Wendy’s husband, John, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, she became his primary caregiver. “My friend Phyllis learned about Caregiver Grants and encouraged me to apply,” says Wendy. Upon receiving a Caregiver Grant, she chose a photography program in Yosemite. “It was truly a dream come true,” she says. “I felt seen, valued and supported by the Road Scholar community, and I found my learning adventure very healing.” Read more of Wendy’s story on [our blog](.
