[RiskHedge Roundup] Commodities prices are shooting through the roof. In the last year, the price of copper has more than doubled... the price of corn has shot up 133%... and the price of lumber has exploded as much as 520%! Commodities are the basic building blocks of modern life. Unlike high flying tech stocks, investors rarely fall in love with lumber and copper. But make no mistake: The world is built on a low-tech foundation of wood, steel, aluminum, concrete, and oil. That’s why soaring commodities prices have very real consequences... According to CNBC, spiking lumber prices have added $36,000 to the price of a new home—pricing out many families. Look at this chart of the Bloomberg Commodity Index, which tracks prices for 23 commodities. It’s soared nearly 50% over the past year and shows little sign of slowing down. Bloomberg Commodity Index Source: Bloomberg Above all else, there’s one thing to know about investing in commodities: Commodities are cyclical. For reasons we won’t go into here, commodities go through huge booms and busts that often last years. Broadly, commodities have been in “bust mode” since 2011. But it looks like they’ve turned the corner. And when you factor in the inflationary force of the $4 trillion the Biden administration has committed to borrowing and spending, things get even more interesting. There’s a real argument to be made that we’re in the early stages of a generational boom in commodities prices. So… does this mean you should buy gold? Copper? Lumber? Here at RiskHedge, our goal is to bring you the best investing ideas in the world... Last week, we attended a prestigious and private investment conference where our longtime friend and commodities expert Marin Katusa presented a completely new way to profit in commodities. If you don’t know Marin yet, he’s a hedge fund manager and New York Times bestselling author. As a professional investor, he has a strong track record of delivering big profits in the commodities space—with wins of 1,050%, 1,450%, 1,852%, 2,400%... even 4,160%. He’s recently recommended to his readers… - A gold play now up 551% in 13 months. - A copper company that surged higher from $1.50 to $10.95 for 630% returns in under 10 months. - A uranium deal now up 332% But what Marin recently discovered is truly a brand new idea that blew the audience away.  We’ve never heard about this type of investment opportunity before. It’s what he calls a “secret” resource sector that has crushed Bitcoin, gold, the Nasdaq, and the S&P by as much as 10X. Not one in 1,000 investors has heard of this sector… or has any idea how to invest. So, we asked Marin to brief RiskHedge readers on this new opportunity... and he agreed.  You can watch Marin’s “Emergency Briefing” right now by [going here](. PS: Marin’s briefing is currently available to watch for all RiskHedge readers. But, for reasons he explains, [the opportunity is time sensitive](. So if you want to hear his new idea and potentially invest alongside Marin, [go here now to sign up and watch the interview](.
