The situation is urgent, and your response will only take a few moments. CRT has been around for decades. Feminist academics used to make arguments about “unpacking their invisible knapsacks of privilege.” However, at the time, CRT was rejected for being “just another crazy fringe academic theory.” Today, the situation is much different…and much worse. Now, CRT infiltrates our schools and workplaces. It’s not so laughable for you to have to sit in a meeting or seminar that explains to you your “invisible knapsack of privilege.” To speak up often means you can lose your job, or worse… What’s frightening for the direction of this country is that federal agencies have labeled some parents who oppose CRT as “domestic terrorists.” This should NOT be happening in America. Hillsdale College—where I work—teaches the principles of liberty and justice that our country was founded on. And we’re fighting to defend them on the battlefield of education.
