It should surprise no one that Gen Z has a shallow and selective idea about “tolerance.” ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Friend, It should surprise no one that Gen Z has a shallow and selective idea about “tolerance.” Why would I say that? For starters, 90% of Gen Z expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement, and less than 50% believe there are “just two genders.” While progressives praise these statistics as surefire indicators of “tolerance,” Gen Z has shown a rapidly increasing rate of intolerance for people of different viewpoints. This includes the belief in meritocracy and the American Dream. While these values were once universally understood by Americans, they have now become counter-cultural. It’s no wonder they are the most anxious, alienated, and depressed generation in history. There are young people who aren’t afraid to stand against the Marxism that has taken over Gen Z and speak up for values like freedom of speech and tolerance, but they lack a platform to make their views known. That’s where Young Voices comes in. I’m Lexi Boccuzzi, a contributor with Young Voices. They give young speakers and writers like me a platform to help us speak out against the growing rate of harassment and violence among Gen Z and protect free speech. [You can help Young Voices train and platform more life-long advocates for freedom like me by donating today. It is inconsistent with the Jewish heritage to play the victim. A worldview centered around tradition, community, success, and, most importantly, survival against all odds represents everything this generation lacks. It is no surprise that the illiberal progressive ideologies that have captivated Gen Z would draw a target on the nation that refuses to be victimized. As a Catholic, I was also raised with a sense of personal accountability for my actions. This is how we can experience both real liberty and moral fulfillment. But theirs is a different, more pervasive kind of ideology fueled by jealousy. These are America’s best and brightest – but they are filled with hatred and ripe for radicalization. At Young Voices, we're fostering a community where freethinkers and free opinion thrive in the face of leftist intolerance and victimhood. Your generous support helps give a voice to brave young journalists who stand up for American principles like free speech and personal accountability.  [Donate $10]( [Donate $35]( [Donate $50]( [Donate $100]( [Donate $250]( [Donate $500]( [Donate $1,000]( [Donate Any Amount]( You can help us provide these brave young speakers with a network to make their voices heard in news outlets around the country and allow their pro-freedom message to reach hundreds of thousands of Americans by donating today.
