It's time to get comfortable with the data... ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Renegade, Many roads lead back to your relationship with money. We get to reinvent that relationship. We all have money stories and I’ll share mine very soon. One of the first action steps I took to reinvent my relationship with money was becoming friends with reality and the data at hand. Time out: Secretly, I’ve never been financially-motivated. Historically I was security-motivated (scarcity/fear mindset) and now I’m freedom-motivated (abundance/growth mindset). Let’s just say a healthy financial motivation and situation doesn’t hurt the freedom-feeling bottomline, if you know what I mean. This has been a big transformation over the course of decades. A critical point was when I met Lisa Detanna who then became a Renegade. She has $4 Billion in assets under management at Raymond James. I met her when I spoke at the Raymond James Global Top 50 Producers event in 2020, where she was one of three women in the top 50. (The night before this talk, I second, third and fourth-guessed myself – wondering, what can a gal from the trailerpark possibly teach these fancy top money people? Luckily, a fellow Renegade stepped in to help me set my head straight. That’s what we do.) After sharing a ride to the airport and a vulnerable conversation between the two of us, Lisa agreed to become my financial advisor. Step one, become friends with the data at hand. This included pulling out the family trust I had established years ago. Notably missing? My new family members! My son, Lincoln. Fast forward, I now have a grasp over my legal and financial posture. That perceived control is a main ingredient of happiness and has drastically reduced my cognitive load and stress. But it took that first step of getting comfortable with the reality of where I was. Sound familiar? These things can stay on our to-do list for years and stir up emotions we didn’t know were there. Working with Lisa was life changing so I asked, how can our Renegades work with you? Lisa works exclusively with high net-worth clients but because of the leverage provided collectively by Renegades, she has recently helped us form the Renegade Multi-Family Office to provide access to our members. And Lisa has spent time as a Renegade and around us so she knows Renegades are a decent bet when it comes to being future ultra high net worth clients. Why do I care so much about wealth generation? We’re on a mission at Renegade to change the flow of money, wealth and decision-making, unlocking a positive economic impact overall. Put simply, we know that women having more money can only lead to good. By reinventing our relationship with money, we free up time to do what we’re meant to do on this planet, not to mention the overlap of pursuing our true passions and interests. Money is a bandwidth manager and capacity expander (more on this soon). It allows you to move to your exponentially higher calling and fly higher. I can’t wait to share the plot twists and turns of my money story. It’s a doozy starting with the false calculus of: sacrifice = success and success = money so the more I sacrifice anything (sleep, health, relationships, joy) the more success I’ll have. Holy smokes. I was so wrong. The good news is I get to keep rewriting my story to find a much better calculus – and you can too. We’d love to help you. Have questions? Reply back to this email. I love talking about how we can make women more money through smart financial planning and democratizing access to deal flow. To your financial health, Ajo P.S. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
