[View on the web]( [Visit our site!]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [Where Can I Find a Not-Horrible Present for a Not-Horrible Man?](#) What the hell do I buy a dude for the holidays? I need to get a few things for my hard-to-shop-for boyfriend and don’t even know where to start. —Elise Let’s start this off by acknowledging that many men do not deserve presents this year. Okay! With that, onto the gifts. Finding a good gift for a dude can be a pain, especially when you take into account that most of the suggestions out there are things like monthly subscriptions to craft beer boxes, some sort of fake-ice-cubes-and-decanter set, or beard lube. Excluding those, here’s a list of presents to consider. Unfortunately, I[can’t guarantee they’ll be grateful](. [Best Made Co. Flannel] This flannel: I realize this is dangerously close to suggesting some sort of tent or axe for your woodsy significant other or brother, but[Best Made Co.’s flannel shirt]( is very good. If $128 is more than you wanted to spend, L.L.Bean also has a[great fleece-lined flannel]( for $68. These skincare products: Men love[Kiehl’s]( — this is a fact. Get one of them this[starter kit]( ($43) so he can see what life is like beyond Old Spice and Axe. This perfect expensive sweater: Several female Racked editors went out and bought J.Press’s[Shaggy Dog sweater]( ($245) after[learning about it]( last year, and no one regrets the purchase. It’s $245, which is MONEY, but the upside is you can steal it if you buy it for someone with whom you currently cohabitate. [BLK Pine Workshop Bag] These bags: This[weekender]( ($195) from the brand[Blk Pine Workshop]( is great. It’s canvas with leather straps, big enough to fit just the right amount of stuff, and not at all too fancy. If you want to do all your shopping here, toss in one of the[beanies]( ($24). These socks and/or underwear, depending on which situation is more dire: Socks[are a great gift](, and let’s face it: Everyone could use more underwear. Richer Poorer is[a one-stop shop for both](. This stocking-stuffer keyring: The[Craighill keyrings]( ($30) we recommended in[our gift guide]( this year have already sold out, but these[other keyrings]( ($25) might be even cooler. —[Tiffany Yannetta](, shopping director [Insert alt text here] [Deal of the Day](#) Tomorrow at 6 p.m. is the cutoff to order from [Topshop]( with standard shipping and receive your stuff by Christmas — but whether you gift [sale section]( items like this [navy shopper]( ($24, from $52) or this [graphic slogan tee]( ($15, from $28) or keep them for yourself is up to you. If your holiday shopping is done, consider browsing for the excellent partywear, from [mini dresses]( to these [shiny copper boots](. [Insert alt text here] Ad from our sponsor In the News Steve Madden Is Busy as Heck The holidays are such a crazy time of year, and just like the rest of us, the team at [Steve Madden]( has a lot on its plate. In a frankly great marketing move, the shoe brand just dropped a “[Curated by Cardi](” collection of heels selected and modeled by Cardi B. The rapper and social media genius also made a series of videos for Steve Madden called “Daily Tips With Cardi B,” in which she explains the appeal of styles like “[Foxy](” and “[Wifey](.” Steve Madden was already [doing well]( during a crappy retail year, and this collab — which Cardi has begun [beaming out]( to her 14 million Instagram followers — stands a good chance of winning big with shoppers. This all sounds like great news for the brand, right? Not quite. The startup [Allbirds]( filed a complaint against Steve Madden yesterday, [accusing]( the company of ripping off its signature “[Wool Runner](” shoe. (Steve Madden is [no newbie]( to design infringement suits, of course.) The Steve Madden style in question is the women’s “[Traveler](” sneaker, which does bear a distinct resemblance to the Allbirds version. Launched in 2015, Allbirds [quickly built a following]( around its wool shoes, which are supposed to wick away sweat and keep foot odors at bay. (I can confirm that they are super comfortable, too.) Copycats are a pretty significant concern for the brand, because while it has expanded its business into children’s shoes, it still only sells two styles for men and women: the Wool Runner and the slip-on “[Wool Lounger](.” With so much business riding on each, a competitor cutting into sales of either would be bad news for the startup. A rep for Steve Madden, reached this morning by Racked, declined to comment on the Allbirds complaint. —[Eliza Brooke](, senior reporter Shopping [Where to Shop for Gifts Online]( [Need Supply's holiday gifts]( If you missed it last month, we put together a really fun[holiday gift guide]( highlighting some of our favorite products, from beauty and accessories to things we don’t talk about as much, like cool things for men and kids. The best part about compiling a gift guide is the process — the act of discovering new stores and brands, and finding exciting things at old favorites. More often than not, I’ll learn about a store I’ve never heard of that stocks all sorts of things I fall in love with and end up buying for myself and others. So if you're more into doing the digging on your own, we’re giving you some solid ideas for where to look — because after all, picking out the special things you think your loved ones will love is one of the most fun parts of gift-giving. Here are a few of them, and you can [see the full list here](. —[Tanisha Pina](, market editor [Aha Life]( Best for: one-stop shopping, covering men, women, kids, pets, beauty, home Prices: a huge range; $5–$5,000+ A marketplace of goods from small designers and artisans around the world, Aha Life stocks apparel, furniture and literally everything in between. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the options, the site’s[gift finder](, which narrows your choices by category and price, is pretty helpful. Plus, the “fun” tab has some unexpected items (standing[totem candles](, millennial[pink ash trays]() that would make great stocking stuffers. [Caileur]( Niche: travel-sized everything Prices: sets from $50; individual items from $6 If you’ve got someone on your list who is always catching a plane (or just likes cute, tiny things), check out this site that only sells travel-sized products for face, body, and hair. You can opt for a pre-packaged set, or make your own with picks from brands like[Marvis](,[Grown Alchemist](,[Supergoop](, and[Sachajuan](. [Simone Leblanc]( Best for: Instagram-worthy gifting made easy Prices: Boxes start around $78 This brand exists literally to make gift-giving easy, and it does a really good job doing just that. The stars of the show, without a doubt, are the Instagramable themed gift boxes — there's everything from [natural beauty]( to [fine cocktail]( — starting at $78, but you'll also find individual picks under $100, like [pretty chocolate]( and [leather goods](.
