But I'm not talking about a "transition" to renewables, or banning gas and oil. I'm talking about a competitive market where renewables go head to head with gas, coal and oil based on quality, utility and price. Like normal markets. Think about what this would mean, to actually have a legitimate market in renewable energy. It means big trouble for guys like Putin, organizations like OPEC and rogue nations like Iran. Whenever they try to manipulate the markets, renewables will gain traction, in accordance with market forces. Eventually the price of oil will fall and these people lose all of their influence in the world. That is, if we can get the liberals and Greta Thunbergs of the world to stop interfering with the market and forcing bad solutions down our throats. Without competition, the prices will never fall. This is why you should sign up for the Zoom viewing of this event. We cannot and should not support the screwed up subsidies by the Biden Administration. But there are legitimate conservative interests in not ignoring this issue - some of them quite compelling.
