[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at [The Providence Journal]( and this is the Daily Briefing. Even if you don't know the victims, the stories feel like a punch to the gut. [The Journal's Katherine Gregg has more on Ruggerio's absence and what voters have to say.]( • Have you ever been to South County? Or visited the Superman building? Are you sure? Maybe you've been to these places, but these like others have taken on a name of their own. The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is installing towers in their refuges to create nesting habitat for chimney swifts. These birds historically nested in hollow trees, but as forests were cleared for development they turned to brick chimneys. But modern chimneys are often capped or lined with smooth metal, so chimney swifts are once again struggling to find nesting sites.
