[@Will_Richmond]( Good morning, I'm Will Richmond at [The Providence Journal]( and this is the Daily Briefing. Especially in the summer the trip along Route 1 from the Warwick-East Greenwich line south is one my family makes often. We use it to escape the beach traffic or to play a round of golf at North Kingstown. My son's summer basketball team plays games in places like Wilson Park. Making the drive enough it can be easy to tune out the strip plazas, hotels and other spots, but last summer one place caught my eye, the Alpha and Omega Church for the Deaf. A couple of weeks ago, when The Journal's Jonny Williams told me he went to the church with photographer Kris Craig I couldn't wait to read the story. With services performed fully in American Sign Language, the church is the only of its type in the region, with the next closest in New Your City or Vermont. Congregants come from all over for the experience, to worship and to meet new people who are also deaf.
