[] [View in browser]( [View in browser]( [] OCT 05, 2023 [] [] SCOTT WELSH’S TICKER TALES This Pullback Could Be A Blessing In Disguise… Today, the market is in the red again as the bad news continues to be everywhere. A bad labor report tomorrow could send the reeling market into even more of a tailspin. Which is exactly what momentum traders want. Though it seems backwards, bearishness is a great time for high-performance breakout traders. Listen to any interview from any great trader and you’ll notice how excited they get during pull-backs. Why? Because the stocks that show strength when the overall market is weak can be monsters. And one stock that fits that profile is computer peripheral maker Logitech (LOGI). That sector is one of the top 5 hottest sectors in the world and LOGI has been staying strong while the market has tanked: [] If it continues its rise and breaks above $72.50, it could go on a nice run. We’ll keep it on our radar. We’ll keep it on our radar. — Scott Welsh P.S. As a reminder, these plays are based on my longer-term Weinstein Stage Analysis method. [] [] MICAH LAMAR A Tech Icon's Quest for Enlightenment Steve Jobs, the visionary co-founder of Apple, was not just a tech mogul. He was a seeker, a traveler, and a man deeply connected to his spiritual roots. While the world remembers him for the revolutionary products he introduced, there's a lesser-known side to Jobs: his spiritual journey and his battle with cancer. In the mid-1970s — at 19 years old — a young Jobs embarked on a transformative journey to India. With his college friend, Daniel Kottke, Jobs explored the vast landscapes of Northern India, seeking spiritual enlightenment. This trip was more than just a tourist's adventure; it was a quest for deeper understanding and purpose. Jobs was particularly drawn to the teachings of Zen Buddhism, a philosophy that emphasizes mindfulness, simplicity, and the interconnectedness of all things. India's spiritual aura left an indelible mark on Jobs. He frequented the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba in Kainchi and was introduced to various meditation practices. These experiences profoundly influenced his design philosophy at Apple. The simplicity and elegance of Apple products, from the Macintosh to the iPhone, can be traced back to Jobs' appreciation for Zen aesthetics. But Jobs' spiritual journey wasn't limited to his travels. He continued to practice Zen Buddhism back in the U.S., under the guidance of Kobun Chino Otogawa, a Zen monk. The teachings of Zen, which emphasize the present moment and the beauty of simplicity, became foundational principles for Jobs, both in his personal life and his work at Apple. However, life threw a curveball at Jobs in 2004 when he was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer. This battle with cancer was not just a physical challenge but also a spiritual one. Jobs confronted his mortality head-on, and his spiritual beliefs provided solace and strength during these trying times. In his iconic Stanford commencement speech, he reflected on death as "life's change agent," emphasizing the impermanence of life and the importance of following one's intuition and heart. Jobs' exploration of spirituality and his health struggles offer a window into the soul of a man often seen only through the lens of technology and innovation. They remind us that behind the genius was a human, grappling with life's profound questions and seeking a deeper purpose. While Steve Jobs' spiritual journey shaped the ethos of Apple, there's another dimension to the company that's equally fascinating: its stock's unique behavior. Apple's stock has exhibited certain "profit cycles" that — when identified and paired with a unique income trade strategy — can lead to remarkable results vastly superior to buying and holding AAPL. Curious about this groundbreaking discovery? [Catch this presentation I recently gave]( where I unveiled a new approach to trading Apple stock, capitalizing on these newly discovered profit cycles. — Micah Lamar [] [] [] ___________________________________________________ [] [] OCT 05, 2023 [] [] SCOTT WELSH’S TICKER TALES This Pullback Could Be A Blessing In Disguise… Today, the market is in the red again as the bad news continues to be everywhere.
