[] [View in browser]( [View in browser]( [] SEPT 18, 2023 [] [] GUY COHEN’S MARKET MOVERS Another Ambiguous Week Another ambiguous week finishing on a bearish note with all the main indices below Key Levels. Conviction in this market is low. Here is this week’s watchlist: [] Follow the money, — Guy Cohen [] [] JEFFRY TURNMIRE The Fed And Why You Might Decide To Tune It All Out The market’s on edge this week. It’s because the Fed is meeting tomorrow and the following day… And by 2pm on Wednesday, we’ll know if the Fed has decided to raise interest rates again. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you probably already know that I don’t believe in the news driving stock prices. I think that’s one of the weaknesses that we, as humans, have… We’re always looking for a story that explains what’s going on. But in my decades of trading the markets, I’ve seen again and again how price action is the only thing that drives a stock’s price. So I don’t really care what the Fed is going to announce on Wednesday. It’s going to be a convenient excuse that the news outlets use to explain whatever happens to the markets on Wednesday afternoon. But it’s not going to be what drives the market. There’s another trader who comes at this whole “Fed” thing from a completely different angle. Yet, he and I both agree on our course of action: We just ignore the Fed and continue doing our thing. See, to my knowledge, Jack Carter doesn’t have an opinion one way or the other about news and how it does or doesn’t affect the markets. But he ignores it all just the same. That’s because his strategies don’t rely on markets going up… or going down. They could sit perfectly still like a Jeep stuck in the mud… and he’d be perfectly fine. Because the special kind of trades he uses allows him to collect weekly income from the markets, regardless of where they are — or aren’t — going. He recently went live to explain how it all works. If you want to check it out, just [click here to watch this video](. Hope you enjoy, — Jeffry Turnmire P.S. If you are tired of watching the news and trying to keep up with markets… Tired of being whipsawed by opposing ideas on what the Fed is going to do… Just tired of being tired… [I urge you to watch his video]( — It could completely change the way you trade.
