Historically, the stock market tends to perform well during election years, driven by the potential for gridlock in Congress, which often favors a stable economic environment. If the House, Senate and the presidency remain divided, traders can expect the market to appreciate the lack of sweeping policy changes. But let’s be real — this year’s election is anything but typical. On the other side, Trump’s navigating legal battles and still making waves. So, there’s definitely more uncertainty in the political landscape than usual.
