Hi {NAME}, On Donald Trump's final day in office, he pardoned Steve Bannon, the alt-right master propagandist behind Trump's rise to power. Now, Bannon is publicly calling to turn Trump's impeachment trial into a hearing on his baseless voter fraud claims, saying β€œit has to be dramatic, it has to be big. It has to be the big lie versus the big steal.” This is what happens when you let right-wing extremists evade accountability -- they continue undermining our institutions, spreading deadly conspiracy theories, and inciting upheaval. Even though state prosecutors across the country are now trying to put Bannon behind bars, we know we've got work to do. Bannon and the rest of his pro-Trump Republican allies get their hooks further into our democracy every day they go ignored. They thrive off of our apathy. We need to keep the pressure on Congress to investigate their crimes and any upcoming appeals to violence. We need to support progressive leadership that values truth and will lead the fight against the GOP's far-right agenda in Washington. And we have to do this now. Progressive Majority exists for this reason -- to stop a fascist minority from running the show -- and we need to get ahead of them before they make a spectacle of the impeachment hearings. We need help though, and it has to come from you because we're a grassroots organization that's hurting for funds at the same time Trump's loyalists are loose and the option to stop them -- and what they represent -- is slipping away. [Please, donations are pouring in to protect pro-Trump GOPers while contributions to our efforts have slowed to a trickle. Can we count on you to give now to help us take a stand against Bannon and unseat every misinformation-spewing Trump]( [ally]( [?]( If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE $500]( [DONATE OTHER]( Thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you.
