A pair of lightweight, AR-powered spectacles that look surprisingly “normal” for a smart wearable. Rocking a fairly Beatles, 60s-era style aesthetic, Frame Glasses are powered by [OpenAI’s Whisper]( and [Perplexity]( and exist to provide AI analysis, translation, and live web search right before your eyes. [In the product demo](, the company shows off several features, including using the glasses to identify landmarks in front of you, searching the web for a specific type of sneakers, and analyzing the nutritional value of the food you’re about to eat. Alongside the looks, Frame stands out for another special reason — the project is entirely open-source, meaning that developers can build upon it to craft their own blend of smart glasses.
