A new Premier League and Budweiser series Wednesday April 12 saw the launch of Behind the Game, a new six-part series co-developed by the Premier League and its official beer partner, Budweiser. Hosted by Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Behind the Game brings together Premier League stars and musical icons to discuss their lives, compare and contrast their journeys, and compete with each other in a series of Budweiser bar games. “I’m so excited for you all to see this show. It’s been a privilege to get to know these talented footballers and musicians.” Wright said. “When you’ve faced the same pressures, criticism, joys and moments of self-doubt as a person, and you find common ground in your experiences, you can get a lot from a conversation. Some of their bar game skills need some work, though!” [Episode One]( features Newcastle United and England striker Callum Wilson alongside musician and visual artist Kojey Radical. We see both stars in a new light as they lift the lid on the obstacles they have to overcome to reach the top. Episode One was released at 9:00 BST on Wednesday April 12. Each subsequent instalment of the six-part series will follow in the same time slot each week.
