A Veterans Day tribute from Police1. November 11, 2022 | [View as webpage]( | Too many emails? [Update Subscription Preferences]( Dear Police1 Member, Veterans Day is a time to reflect and remember as we thank the less than 1% of America’s population who selflessly serve in the military each year so that 100% can enjoy life, liberty and freedom. Service as a police officer, for many, is a natural progression from military employment. Given the tumultuous and unstable nature of the past two decades, many of our veterans serving in law enforcement have seen combat operations, faced extreme danger, and lost brothers and sisters down range in faraway places. The very nature of our veterans, moving from the military line of fire to protect and serve in the line of duty, is one of selfless dedication and devotion to the community they serve and the citizens within it. In today’s newsletter, kindly supported by [Verizon]( we feature messages of thanks for our veterans, resources for veterans to find employment in law enforcement and training for law enforcement who may encounter veterans in crisis. For their past, present and future, we thank our military personnel for their service. They have made the world, both home and away, a better place. Stay safe, — The Police1 Team HONORING OUR VETERANS
