Is there such a thing as too much of a good motion?

Here it is: At the end there, he brings up an interesting question... "Is it possible to overdose or overmedicate using movement?" Answer: YES! You see, most people only really need 1-2 motions to resolve their pain (even if itâs been there for years). Of 118 possibilities, we find these one or two motions by using the scientific method⦠testing until we find exactly what works for you. Then, we bottle it up and start using it. Now, Josh might get excited and start by doing double duty (doing twice as much thinking it will make him better faster). And he could, if he wantsâ¦
But at some point, what he will discover is that there is a therapeutic dose that needs to be achieved and optimized for. Basically, he will learn that if he does a motion 2x⦠that may give the same effect as 4x. So, the lazy bone in me says, why do more? And the risk of 4 times is that he gives too much input and sets himself back.
Not to mention the ENERGY behind who heâs BEING when putting in double the effort. Is he being someone whoâs relaxed and just letting the healing happen? Or is he forcing it? You see, most people think that the more they do, the faster they will heal.
Instead of trusting the process- they FORCE it and rush pain relief. No bueno. Use movement as medicine⦠but donât choke on it. Instead of chasing pain relief⦠follow a pain relief process and the let pain relief happen! Make sense? Trust the process,
