She conceptualized the first feminist photography collective conference, [WOPHA Congress]( while publishing and curating from feminist and decolonial perspectives on Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx photography. 🌟 [Sarah Waiswa]( African Women in Photography Sarah Waiswa is a Ugandan-born, Kenya-based award-winning photographer who explores the New African Identity and social issues in Africa through her work. In 2021, she founded [African Women in Photography]( an organisation/community dedicated to elevating and celebrating the work of women and nonbinary photographers from Africa. 🌟 [Tiera Ndlovu]( Baha Archives Tiera Ndlovu is an art historian and curator focused on Contemporary Art and Photography, and founder of [Baha Archives]( the first photographic archive dedicated to Black Bahamian history. 🌟 [Verónica Sanchis]( Foto Feminas Verónica Sanchis is a Spanish-Venezuelan photographer and founder of [Foto Féminas]( an online platform promoting Latin American and Caribbean women photographers, organizing exhibitions and a mobile library showcasing their work globally.
