Great Cameras, New Straps and Wild Photo ..... Weekly Newsletter - June 25, 2019 Happy Log Cabin Day

Great Cameras, New Straps and Wild Photo ..... [image] Weekly Newsletter - June 25, 2019 Happy Log Cabin Day! Raise your hand if you own a GoPro. Now, raise your hand if you think it’s the best action camera out there. A few weeks ago, I would have agreed that GoPro held the title of best action camera, hands-down (my HERO 6 Black isn’t half bad). Now, though, I’m not so sure. Over the last week or so, I’ve been testing a new action camera, the Insta360 ONE X. You might’ve heard of this thing - some people are mocking it as a gimmick while others are anointing it as a GoPro and DJI action camera killer. My testing has revealed some very interesting things - some good, some bad. So, I’ll continue testing to see if it’s the real deal and a viable option for serious photographers. And guess what? I’ll share my findings with you in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that!\ Quote of the Week: “We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us.”— Ralph Hattersley Editors Pick for Inspirational Photo of the Week: (Click the image to view on the website.)
