Picnics, mirrorless cameras, and pictures that talk. [image] Weekly Newsletter - June 18, 2019 Happy International Picnic Day! I’ve got BIG news, guys! No, I’m not auditioning for Disney’s live action version of Snow White... After a ton of thought and consideration, I’ve decided to go completely mirrorless. Yeah...this coming from the guy that has raved over the Nikon D850 the last couple of years… Don’t get me wrong - the D850 is one of the best cameras I’ve ever owned. But since I picked up the Nikon Z7, my D850 just sits there sad and lonely in my camera bag. So, as much as it might pain me to see a truly excellent camera go, I feel like it’s time to say goodbye to my good ol’ D850 and fully embrace mirrorless. I haven’t been this excited (and stressed, I have to say…) since switching from film to digital back in the day! But despite a few reservations, I know this is the right move for me. So, to all my mirrorless peeps out there, I’m coming for ya! Quote of the Week: “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What yu have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” – Aaron Siskind Editors Pick for Inspirational Photo of the Week: (Click the image to view on the website.)
