[Petit BamBou]   Hello, We get a lot of feedback and questions from our users on many different subjects. But THE question that comes up time and again is about which position to adopt during a session: "Can I meditate lying down? Sitting up, on a chair? There are no strict rules about the position to adopt when meditating. You don't have to practise in the lotus position (the best-known symbol or image of meditation); a chair is all you need. So you can meditate anywhere, discreetly and at your convenience. What matters is to be able to breathe well, be comfortable, solid, and open, with good stability, in a position that keeps you awake with an alert mind and remains good from a physiological point of view (particularly for the back). Let yourself be as you are rather than trying to follow a certain way or push yourself too hard! The body scan in all its forms In keeping with this idea of spontaneity and listening to oneself, here's a new programme based on body scans! We asked our authors to come to the studio and record a body scan session each in their own way. Some chose to do it in the form of conventional meditation, others in the form of relaxation sessions like those we do at the end of yoga sessions, or even to include visualisations and other more creative aspects. This compilation of styles and voices (thanks to Chloe, Betsy, James, Camille, Beth, Reuben and Tulsi) can be found in the '[Bodyscan]( programme, where you can (re)discover this great classic of mindfulness meditation. We hope you enjoy (re)connecting with your body, [petit bambou] mailto:help@petitbambou.com    Find Petit BamBou at: Our address: Petit BamBou Imaginarium 99C boulevard Constantin Descat 59 200 Tourcoing France  [Click here to unsubscribe]( from the newsletter - We're sad to see you go, but don't hold any grudge :) Â
