Give the gift that helps moms of puppies and kittens and other pets in need. These mamas were rescued just in time. [View this email in your browser]( Dear Friend, This Mother's Day, why not give the gift that helps pets in need — including cats and dogs who are rescued while pregnant or nursing? If your donation is in honor of the pet-loving mom in your life, [give by Friday, May 12,]( and we'll send her an email announcing your gift and passing along any personal message you include. Heidi and her pups You'll be helping pets like Heidi (top and above), who was saved, along with her puppies, with help from our Emergency Medical Grant to Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue in Texas. The organization pulled a very pregnant Heidi from a local shelter. She soon went into labor, but one of her puppies was stuck. An emergency C-section saved her life. Heidi and her babies have all been adopted. Sabrina and her kittens Sabrina was found by a kind person who noticed her hanging around his apartment. The friendly cat looked pregnant, so he brought her to Homeless Animal Rescue Team of Cincinnati. Not only was Sabrina pregnant, she was due to give birth very soon! Our Cat Enrichment Grant to HART provided a safe and private playpen in which she delivered her kittens. All are now in forever homes. Oreo and family Oreo was found by good Samaritans, pregnant and running in traffic on a busy California roadway. When no owner claimed her, she was taken in by Animal Rescue of Tracy. She soon delivered four healthy puppies, but became ill with sepsis, a deceased puppy still in her uterus. With help from our Emergency Medical Grant, she received lifesaving surgery. Oreo and her pups are now all healthy and adopted. Our grants continue to help momma pets and all other pets in need. [Your gift will help more pets like them.]( From all of us at the Petfinder Foundation, thank you for all that you do to help homeless pets.
