Countless pets were left to fend for themselves while Covid raged. Your support helped shelters and rescue groups save their lives. Thanks to you, they weren't left to die. [View this email in your browser]( Pearl can now walk on her own! Dear Friend, Amid the devastation wrought by Covid-19, countless companion animals have been left on their own, whether intentionally or because their owners became sick. Your donations to the Petfinder Foundation have ensured that, despite a near-total loss in revenue, adoption groups have still been able to rescue and rehabilitate these innocent victims of the pandemic. Pearl when she was rescued One example is Pearl, found abandoned in Navajo Nation after a Covid outbreak there resulted in a shelter-in-place order. Desperately trying to nurse four puppies, Pearl was unable to stand or walk. Thanks to our grant, Cooper's Chance Animal Rescue in Arizona was able to save her life. Pearl is being treated for valley fever and expected to recover completely, and her puppies have been adopted. [Read her story.]( Hallie when she was found At just 4 weeks old, little Hallie was found locked in a filthy, abandoned trailer, starving and loaded with fleas and worms. With help from our grant, Nala's New Life Rescue in Florida was able to take her in and provide her with lifesaving veterinary care. Today, she is strong, healthy, and adopted! [Read her story.]( Nala (left) and a friend today Vivian and Roman (below) were left confined on the porch of an abandoned house in scorching heat with no food or water. Both dogs hurt their paws trying desperately to escape. Thanks to our grant, Take Paws Rescue in Louisiana was able to rescue them and get them on the road to health, including heartworm treatment and care for their injuries. [Read their story.]( Vivian and Romeo today It's thanks to your support that these dogs did not suffer and die alone. [Your donation today will help more pets like them.]( Thank you for all that you do to help pets in need.
