Do you dare? [View In Browser]( [Penguin Random House]( [All Ways Black]( [Cree Myles] Cree Myles, Founding Editor of [All Ways Black]( One of my most controversial takes as a Black person is that my favorite Christmas song is "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by Andy Williams. My only critique of the song is how it cites the surrounding days of December 25th as the most wonderful time, when we all know that it’s actually October. Christmas may have an entire musical canon dedicated to it, but spooky season has its own literary genre! And, as a spooky season enthusiast, I wait for October 1st as excitedly as a child on Christmas Eve. Here’s to finding that perfect spooky book, to being a little scared at night, and to welcoming the season's eerie vibes. Happy reading!
