In a fiery rant posted on X, Portnoy unloaded on how the media continues to prop up Harris as some sort of transformational candidate-despite, as he puts it, her being the "worst presidential candidate" in American history. And honestly, it's hard to argue with him. Portnoy's frustration is palpable. He points out how, at recent rallies, Harris has been telling crowds that it's "time to turn the page," as if she's something fresh and new, offering an alternative to the disaster of the Biden administration. The catch? She's the current Vice President. Let that sink in. How can she claim to be a "change" candidate when she's been standing right next to Joe Biden as this administration drove the country into a ditch on issues like immigration, inflation, and foreign policy? Afghanistan, Russia, Israel-you name it, this administration has fumbled it, and Harris has been front and center through it all. Portnoy takes it a step further, calling out her painful inability to answer simple questions during the softball interviews she's been given. From The View to Late Night with Stephen Colbert, Harris has been served up nothing but easy questions, and yet she still manages to ramble incoherently or pivot to meaningless platitudes about the "hopes and dreams" of the American people. It's as if she's trying to win a student council election rather than lead the free world. "What are we talking about?" Portnoy asks in disbelief. "This is the candidate that people say is such a great leader?" It's a fair question. Harris's inability to give straight answers or put together a coherent thought is downright alarming, especially when you think about what she'd be like on the international stage. Imagine her having to deal with world leaders-Portnoy is right, it's a scary thought. And let's not forget, as Portnoy reminds us, Harris didn't exactly light the world on fire during her own run for president. She didn't even make it to the primaries, dropping out before a single vote was cast. There's a reason for that-voters saw through her then, just as many are seeing through her now. As Portnoy points out, like him or not, Trump has earned the nomination of his party three times, fair and square. Kamala? She's never earned a single vote for president.
