Vance didn't mince words during his Sunday morning interview when ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz tried to downplay former President Donald Trump's comments on immigration. Trump recently claimed that Aurora, Colorado, had been "invaded and conquered" by illegal immigrants, specifically pointing to Venezuelan gang activity. Raddatz, clearly rattled by Trump's strong rhetoric, pointed out that Aurora's mayor had called the comments "grossly exaggerated." But Vance wasn't having any of it. "Well, Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated. That means there's gotta be some element of truth here," Vance shot back, pointing out that Trump had actually spoken to people on the ground in Aurora, where fear of these gangs is very real. The left-leaning media seems more interested in dissecting every word out of Trump's mouth than acknowledging the real problem: our open borders are letting in dangerous criminals who are terrorizing American communities. The Tren de Aragua gang, which Aurora officials confirmed in September had been involved in violent crimes like shootings, motor-vehicle thefts, and assaults at apartment complexes, is a perfect example of what's happening. But no, according to Raddatz, it's "only" a few apartment buildings. Guess it's not a big deal until it's your apartment.
