But let's be clear: Vance didn't just win this debate; he dismantled Walz point by point, staying calm and collected even as the moderators leaned into their obvious bias. While some Republicans think the only way to fight back these days is to go full bull-in-a-china-shop, Vance took a smarter approach. He systematically took apart Walz's arguments without raising his voice or losing his cool, even on the tougher issues where there was no easy answer.
