As anyone with half an eye on this race could predict, JD Vance absolutely wiped the floor with Tim Walz, and he managed to do it while wrestling with moderators who seemed determined to hand Walz some lifelines. But guess what? Walz needed more than that-he needed a miracle, and Vance wasn't in the mood to grant him one. Right out of the gate, Vance was sharp, composed, and armed with facts, while Walz stumbled around like he forgot to read his notes. The best part of the night? That's easy: when Vance shredded Walz's scripted talking points about Kamala Harris's so-called "economic plans." It was brutal, and you almost felt sorry for Walz. Almost. And the left is not happy. MSNBC host Symone Sanders is mad about all the "niceties" from Tim Walz on the debate stage. "I am just kinda like, well, if you agree so much with JD Vance, why should they vote for you?" [pic.twitter.com/YhEqPAe0Bw]( - Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) [October 2, 2024]( Yeah, Walz lost [( - Bonchie (@bonchieredstate) [October 2, 2024]( Vance laid it out perfectly, reminding the audience that these "experts" Walz and his ilk worship have been wrong for decades. Vance called out how these same geniuses once told us outsourcing American manufacturing would make the middle class stronger. Spoiler alert: it didn't. Vance wasn't just speaking in hypotheticals either-he brought receipts, pointing out how Donald Trump, for the first time in a generation, had the guts to say no more of this nonsense. Trump fought to bring back American manufacturing, unleash our energy potential, and make America self-reliant again. And Walz's response? Essentially calling American voters fools for believing their own paychecks and lower prices. Bold strategy, Tim. Then came the knockout punch. Walz tried to make excuses, claiming Trump didn't actually do as well as the numbers say, and Vance saw right through it. He hammered Walz with the undeniable truth: Trump delivered rising take-home pay, lower inflation, and policies that made life affordable for Americans-something the Harris administration has utterly failed to do. Vance even got personal, sharing how he grew up in a household that struggled to make ends meet. It was a powerful moment, and you could feel the debate shift entirely in Vance's favor. JD Vance breaking the 4th wall anytime Walz talks has me chuckling [pic.twitter.com/3m2bf3Yn8C]( - Link Lauren (@itslinklauren) [October 2, 2024]( But wait, it gets worse for Walz. As if he hadn't already embarrassed himself enough, the next segment was a train wreck of epic proportions. Walz was asked about his recent lie-yes, a lie-about being in China during the Tiananmen Square massacre. Watching him squirm was painful, but let's be honest, it was also kind of satisfying. When pressed for a straight answer, Walz stuttered, rambled, and ultimately spewed some nonsensical line about "learning a lot about governance." Huh? What does that even mean? At that point, you almost expected him to just walk off the stage in defeat. CBS: You lied about being in China during Tiananmen Square. What do you say? Tim Walz: "I used to ride my bike with friends growing up." This is completely painful to watch.[pic.twitter.com/pDUXkwmJgO]( - Greg Price (@greg_price11) [October 2, 2024]( The debate wasn't close. Vance came to play, and [Walz came to flail](. If this is the best the Democrats have to offer, they might want to rethink their strategy because Vance just made it clear who's ready for the big leagues-and it's not Walz. Afterward on CBS, Ed Gordon rued "the civility that we saw tonight may be a mistake by Democrats quite frankly....Walz missed an opportunity to really push the racial insensitivity." [#VPDebate]( [pic.twitter.com/3LdYPhh8D8]( - Brent Baker ???? ???? (@BrentHBaker) [October 2, 2024]( After the Vance/Walz debate, Nicole Wallace had a meltdown on MSNBC and said "Trump sent his supporters to hang Mike Pence." This is just one example of the dangerous lies that are being fed daily to liberals watching MSNBC.
