Walz tried to make excuses, claiming Trump didn't actually do as well as the numbers say, and Vance saw right through it. He hammered Walz with the undeniable truth: Trump delivered rising take-home pay, lower inflation, and policies that made life affordable for Americans-something the Harris administration has utterly failed to do. Vance even got personal, sharing how he grew up in a household that struggled to make ends meet. It was a powerful moment, and you could feel the debate shift entirely in Vance's favor.
