We asked our friend Garrison Hayes to explain the fascinating history of the [movement’s visual identity](. - We’re big fans of [Murals for the Movement]( a group that uses the power and magic of public art to amplify culturally-inspired and social justice-related works by Black, Indigenous and People of Color in Boston and New York. - A new art exhibit at the Oakland Museum of California, “[Seize The Time]( focuses on images of the young revolutionary, Angela Davis. “I think that art is actually crucial.
