Is AI a fad? May 24, 2024 [WEBSITE]( | [UNSUBSCRIBE]( No one wants to explain to their boss why the AI assistant went rogue and started sending death threats to clients. Mullets, Pet Rocks, and AI CHRIS CAMPBELL Dear Reader, You're sitting in your favorite chair, sipping on a scalding hot cup of coffee, when suddenly your neighbor bursts through the door, screaming, "AI is taking over the world! It's the end of jobs as we know it!" You nearly burn your nethers in surprise. But before you start panicking, let's take a breath. AI isn’t taking over the world. Maybe I’m being presumptuous. You could very well be on the other side of the aisle: Maybe you’re sitting here thinking: "AI? Isn't that just another fad? Like the pet rock or the mullet?" I get it. AI’s been around longer than most people think. Way back in the ‘90s, a supercomputer beat a chess champion. What’s taking it so long for total world domination? The only thing… Back then, AI was about as accessible as a VIP ticket to the moon. Fast forward to today… AI is Everywhere. You've got ChatGPT, Dolly, Midjourney, Claude, and more. AI tools are moving at breakneck speed. It's like watching a time-lapse video of a city being built. One day you're awestruck at ChatGPT's ability to write a mediocre essay, and the next, you've got AI generating entire videos from a single photo. Most don’t get it: this is just the beginning. Companies are just starting to dip their toes into the AI pool. But they're not about to hand over the keys to the kingdom to AI. No one wants to be the first to explain to their boss why the AI assistant went rogue and started sending death threats to clients. So, what does this mean for us mere mortals? Well, for starters, AI is going to surprise us with what it can do. But it’s not going to replace being human. Famed A.I. Expert "Do This By June 25th" Genius investor James Altucher is predicting between now and June 25, a new generation of A.I. will create a brief "wealth window" in America. It could make crypto look like pocket change... [Click here for all the details ]( Gold in, Gold Out Everyone can now put together an essay with the click of a button… But now those essays have to actually have good ideas, insights, and… gasp… make sense. AI chatbots are only REALLY valuable for people who ask good questions and make interesting connections. Garbage in, garbage out. Gold in, gold out. But what about our jobs? Are we all doomed to be replaced by robots? Not quite. AI will not only allow armies of smaller teams to become WAY more competitive… I think the biggest shift is it will also allow for traditionally non-creative fields -- like healthcare, finance, manufacturing, agriculture, and more -- to take more creative risk. In other words, it has the potential to help humanize these fields. Even the tasks that are supposedly easy to automate run into brick walls. Being a developer is about more than just writing code. It's about problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership. Those skills are harder to replicate. While some jobs may be automated, new, more creative opportunities will arise. AI is artificial abundance. That means tons of mediocre slop is coming our way. Human-made content isn’t going anywhere. Just look at YouTube - now you can specify if your video was made by AI or not. And if you want to write a book, create a channel, or build an audience -- it’s easier than ever to build a small “tribe” of fans. So, my advice? Don't fear the AI revolution. Embrace it! Learn new skills, stay curious, and look for opportunities. Our beat, of course, is finding unique and undervalued investment opportunities. Some good things in the works. But it won’t just be good for Elon… Because technology analyst Ray Blanco discovered another company… One that could be a hidden “backdoor” way to profit thanks to the ‘trillionaire-making’ company Elon is building right now.
