Try this. With Bitcoin and Bitcoin related entities jumping 50% in the last month it is easy to see why the $100,000 level was so key. The old Jessie Livermore saying about big round numbers has more to do with investor psychology than anything but after at least 100 years it still is going strong. And what is keeping Bitcoin going at this point beside investor psychology is beyond me. $100,000 was the big one, and now it happened. It is hard to call Bitcoin a bargain here. It is hard to find a stock riding the Bitcoin high more than Microstrategy Inc (Ticker: MSTR). After peaking above $440 today MSTR is trading around $380 [ded] I am sure Bitcoin can go higher, but now that 100k is a new top, it will take a while to get some momentum. Probably better to look for some cheap implied volatility in other names. Many of the Mag 7 are trading at 1 year lows for 30 day volatility. That makes for great new opportunities. [Join us for a “shot” tomorrow where for the price of a coffee, there are bargains and great opportunities still to be had.]( - AG [logo, pit profits] Want to find YOUR winning fit? Yo Pit Crazies, When I launched my Option Fingerprint program little did I know it would go so well so fast. The idea of accumulating option volume might be new to some folks but it is not new to me watching the first Long Term Equity Anticipation Securities (LEAPS) get listed in 1990. Institutions wanted long term expirations to buy options so they can buy em and hold em. Unlike stock volume, option open interest hangs around for a long time and most institutions trading LEAPS are on the buy side for the reason I described above. That leaves a “fingerprint” sometimes for years as the options gain value. This is something I can see everyday and watch it grow. Block Inc (Ticker: SQ) is one of my quasi bitcoin picks. Similar to RobinHood Markets Inc (Ticker: HOOD) which has embraced crypto trading rather early and is back in vogue again. SQ is a payment processor using a crypto wallet. I bought SQ shares in the mid $60 range and two months later it is going to trade $100. I am two dollars away. My big mistake for Flash10 was closing HOOD at the target, if you can call that a mistake. [FOMO] 1 year SQ chart with BOT spot With the new DJT administration going all in on Crypto, stocks got kicked into high gear. Stocks like SQ are feeling the sunshine early. It also was a $260 stock 3 years ago. While these retailers have historically been seen as recession-proof, their recent earnings reports suggest a potential shift in consumer behavior. As consumers grapple with inflation and economic uncertainty, they may be opting for cheaper alternatives, even if it means sacrificing quality. This trend could have broader implications for the economy and the stock market. --------------------------------------------------------------- [tracker, logo, order flow, frep] --------------------------------------------------------------- Let's take a closer look at some of the most intriguing trades from Wednesday: [ded] Apple (AAPL): A Strategic Roll A savvy trader executed a close and roll strategy on AAPL. By selling to close the 235-250 call spread and buying to open the Feb 250-265 call spread, they're positioning themselves for a potential upward move in the stock price. [ded] Ford (F): A Bullish Bet A trader placed an outright call buy on F, anticipating a potential rally to $12 by January 10th. This bullish bet suggests confidence in Ford's future prospects. We'll be back tomorrow with more order flow analysis. It's Time To Start Seizing the Santa Claus Rally! We’re in full swing, and the options market is ripe with opportunity.
