Option Pit Option Pit                                                                                                      [frep, frep header, header, logo] October 10, 2024 Hi, I’m Hans.  And no, I don’t know Franz, but I do know how to make income from options like the back of my hand. I should. After all, I managed a billion dollars worth of these strategies for decades. I am new to Option Pit and I am excited to start. Mark and the team brought me on to provide consistent, retirement ready trading for you. We are going to be creating INCOME for your future the same way I have for the last 3 decades! Option Pit is expanding. And our readers and traders (both at conferences, our live rooms, and via email) have requested an Income Strategy with Options. That’s why we’re launching Option Pit Income. And it’s totally FREE! And I’ll tell you right now - a successful approach to income trading involves the realization that you can’t do the same thing again and again and hope to succeed. There is no ONE strategy that will suffice you into the future. And that includes giving your money to an FA, IRA, 401k, or a mutual fund. The retirement landscape has changed. Trust me. I know. I’ve been managing money for folks over half my life. And NOW is the perfect time to take advantage of new strategies and ways to look at the market. Like Homer Simpson mindlessly pushing the same button OVER and OVER at the nuclear power plant, you can’t treat option income with the same systematic and thoughtless approach that many of the so-called “pros” use. Not if you want to win in the long run.  Why do fund companies consistently not outperform the S+P? Because they’re much more interested in prospecting for new client money than caring about your performance. Fees, fees, fees. That’s what they’re all about. Which shows in their numbers. But YOU’RE interested in your investment performance, aren’t you?   The biggest place people get this wrong is in thinking that it’s all about the wins.  Sure, you have to have the wins, but just as importantly it’s about avoiding the mud puddles. Even more so, it’s about avoiding the mud puddles that turn out to be gaping sinkholes. It’s about learning when to step on the gas pedal and when to step aside. Simply put, it’s about edge and knowing how to find it. And when the edge isn’t there, well you just don’t force it.Think about the last 20 years of investing - let alone the last 5 - Your options were - 1. Earn money then give it to a Financial Advisor (see above you’re a notch on a belt)2. Find Dividend Stocks (their yield and return has not grown)3. Find growth stocks (throw a dart and hope you hit)4. CDs or Bonds (consistent but not real growth compared to inflation)Trading and investing combined are the future. This is evident in that option contracts are now traded MORE than stock. That’s important to understand. Options dictate the price of stock. This is a paradigm shift and a journey that we are going to undertake together to get you maximum results. This relationship and what I’ll teach and show you is about being consistent, signal-driven, and ruthless. Think of typical option income approaches as the old mousetrap. It can work. And work. And work. Until it doesn’t. But the “doesn’t” part can be very painful. Services and “systems” will sell you their secret sauce, which is no real sauce at all. They’re showing you how to pick up pennies in front of a steamroller. Which usually ends up with OUCH. What I am going to give you in this Option Pit Income is a MUCH better mousetrap. Many income strategies, mostly from sources that feel that they are experts after having done this for 2 years (try my 28 years of crushing option premium through numerous bull and bear markets on for size). I spent 12 years as a professional options market maker and I didn’t get a paycheck if I didn’t make profits. Know what happens when you don’t eat after a losing week? You figure out how to make money. Want to follow someone who read a textbook and trades 1 lots? Good luck. Do you want to follow someone with a big YouTube following or track down someone “hot” on twitter be my guest… I’ll still be standing at the end of the day raking in consistent income. Does this mean that sometimes a trade won’t work out? You darn tootin it does – in fact I often say that a successful options income campaign ends with a dud. And that’s ok. Trading is like poker: you need to accumulate information from everywhere. What did that guy bet when he bluffed, what did she do on the River before she folded a bad hand… We need to always take the pulse of markets and sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest thing. The trade that didn’t work out is valuable information – and we take note. Spotting risk is the first step. Doing something about it is what a pro does. My goal for you is to provide an iron clad and consistent options income strategy.  So what do you get? Well I’ll put that in my next letter… for right now I wanted to say a warm hello to the group and introduce myself. Tomorrow I’ll send you another letter explaining what Option Pit Income will give you free week in and week out… It’s a great time to be a trader.
