Daily Pit Stop June 26, 2024 Did you know that there’s a way to “synthetically close”

Daily Pit Stop [fstp, logo, header] June 26, 2024 Did you know that there’s a way to “synthetically close” your trades? Meaning… they LOOK like they’re open (avoiding the PDT rule), but you’ve actually taken the profit OFF the table WITHOUT making a day trade? Mark Sebastian teaches you how tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET. [Join 0DTE to get this class!]( [ag views, logo, header] Chewy is chewing up the market lately Most of the market is waiting for some kind of surprise out of the debates. I don't think that will happen but it could. What is surprising me right now is the crazy jump in Chewy Inc (Ticker: CHWY) option prices. The Crazy Implied Volatility (IV) is off the hook. At one time CHWY was a $50+ stock and it seems the time in the dog house is over. [ded] I wonder if I can get Voz to look at it on Friday on [Free Voz Friday.]( I rolled some longer term calls up in CHWY and still own lots of shares from around $21. That was not great when shares were $15 a few weeks ago but times can change. I like CHWY for $40 this year on the big earnings growth. - AG  [logo, pit profits] Want to find YOUR winning fit? Everything from the QQQ to Bonds. My close Tuesday was a bit different, a buddy wanted to go Striper fishing so I did this: [ded]( The Gulf of Maine and the shoreline offer 1000s of fishing spots. An almost unlimited supply of places to go. Right now the stock market, with 1000’s of names to trade, has only one place to go. That stock is Nvidia Inc. (Ticker: NVDA). On a low volume Tuesday in the June heat, NVDA managed a day where the fund manager had a chance to buy the stock not at all time highs. So they all jumped in and the performance lifted all high quality tech. [ded]( Watching the trade this week it has been light. VIX for the most part has lifted into light activity which I can only guess is due to the Presidential debates.  [That will make for a lively show on Friday with Voz.]( [What did the VIX tell us after the rocket NVDA rally Tuesday?]( - AG  [fpip] No Need for Pattern Day Trading Hi Shoppers, They call it pattern day trading. When you buy (or sell) an option and trade out of it the same day. The brokerage houses only allow three day trades every five days unless you have $25,000 in your account. So what is a person with a smaller account to do when they want to take that profit the same day? You synthetically take that profit. Do you know your synthetics? [If you don’t then you need to join our 0DTE service which trades options that expire that day.]( Mark Sebastian and I will teach you exactly how to trade those synthetic strategies. By the time we finish our special class this Thursday, you will know options forward and backward up down and all around! On top of all that, Mark has a new Double Down Meter which indicates to him when his trade idea is so good, he needs to double down on it.
