Option Pit Stop [fstp, logo, header] June 14, 2024  [ag views, logo, header] Time to Double Down on Long VIX Calls?  The French are in trouble as the Left could get kicked out of office from the Right. The Right apparently does not think debt matters too much and the French Bond Market is in turmoil. The VSTOXX Euro VIX is running 19.88. A full 7 points over VIX. That is near panic levels and probably the reason VIX traded 13 today. [ded] [ded] The problem with the bond market is that they are very big and can push equities around. Might be a good time to pick up some cheap calls in VIX for Jul or Aug.
