[Donate now to triple your impact.]( Here at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, every month is Black History Month. March is also Women’s History Month, and we’re celebrating Black women's vital contributions to our culture through our programming, including our continuing Black Feminist Futures series. This month, we’ll host a conversation about Black women’s organizing through art, freedom dreaming, and collective politics. This March also marks over 5 years of our partnership with Penguin Random House. [Thanks to their generosity, when you give now, your contribution will be matched 3x.]( That’s three times as much support for Black voices, for curated exhibitions of the Schomburg Center’s treasures, for unique programming and scholarship. Penguin Random House’s catalog includes books from celebrated Black authors, like Toni Morrison, Octavia Butler, and Ta-Nehisi Coates. This year, they released new editions of underappreciated masterpieces like Clarence Major’s Dirty Bird Blues and Jessie Redmon Fauset’s Plum Bun to make sure new readers are able to discover these classics every day. At the Schomburg Center, we share that goal. We offer free programming, exhibitions, and resources to ensure that new scholars are introduced to our rich Black cultural history—and that those who are already familiar with our work are able to find new and exciting artifacts and connections in our collection. We record and preserve the Black cultural record for our visitors of today and scholars of tomorrow. We’re so grateful to have help in that endeavor from partners like Penguin Random House and supporters like you. Can we count on you today? [Give now while your donation will be tripled by Penguin Random House.]( You’ll have three times the impact on the Schomburg Center’s mission of Black cultural studies. Thank you for standing with the Schomburg Center as we work to meet the hunger for Black stories and scholarship.
