Good morning, {NAME}! Tomorrow, a hundred notaries or more are starting a Notary Business Challeng

Good morning, {NAME}! Tomorrow, a hundred notaries or more are starting a Notary Business Challenge based on my book, The Notary Business Building Challenge. It's free to participate, and I'm even giving the full PDF version of my book away for free. You can download it at the link below. [Download the free book here]( I even created a private Facebook group so we can all stay in touch and share our progress daily with the challenge. You can join the no-hassle FB group at the link below. [Join the private Facebook group and challenge]( And, I'd like to start the challenge a day early with a new task, not previously included in the book. Today, I'd like you to research whether you're expected to report your beneficial ownership information (BOI) under the Corporate Transparency Act, and if you are, then let's get it out of the way today. Start the new quarter off with a clean slate and sense of accomplishment. If you are operating your notary business as an LLC, corporation, S-corporation, PLLC, or partnership, there's a very good chance you are expected and required to report BOI (most sole proprietors will not be expected to report). Now, the attorneys that sell this advice have made it clear that I can't advise you on whether you are required to report or not. So, here is my disclaimer: I'm not an attorney and I cannot offer advise. And, I'm not offering legal advise. But, I can, colleague to colleague, point to publicly available information and help you decide for yourself. It's pretty cut and dry. Plus, I partnered with the leading subject matter expert and speaker on the Corporate Transparency Act, also an attorney, to help ensure we got it right. Step One So, first step of today's challenge is to read the blog article and accompanying white paper report I wrote. [Read the blog and report here]( If you've wisely determined that you will be required to report your BOI because you own/control an entity such as, an LLC, a corporation, an S-corporation, or a PLLC (or other entity as stipulated by the CTA), let's get it done together today. At 10:00am Pacific time (1:00pm ET), I'll open up a Zoom and I'll walk you through the reporting process on the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network's (FinCen) website. I have another entity I had forgotten about, an LLC, that requires reporting. We'll use it as an example. You can follow along, and even do your own reporting in a separate browser window if you want to. Step Two Step two, is to be prepared for that. I created a sample client intake form for our new Corporate Transparency Act Facilitator (CTAF) program and you can download it at the link below. As long as you have all that information, reporting is a breeze. My first entity took about fifteen minutes as I stumbled around, figuring out the process. By the time I made my third entity's report, I was down to 7 minutes. [Download the client intake form for yourself]( Step Three Step three, is to have a photo of your government ID uploaded to whatever device you're going to use to access the FinCen reporting portal. This is a requirement, and your valid and unexpired state issued ID, driver license, or passport, will suffice. I know you have questions. My blog and white paper does a really great job of answering them. Start there. Then explore the FAQ page of the FinCen website (link in article). Step Four If you want to, join us at 10:00am Pacific time and watch me report my own BOI on Zoom. Here is the link: [ Save that link in a calendar appointment you set on your calendar. I'm not going to send anymore emails about this today. This is a challenge, let's get to it! Replay will be posted in the private FB group for the challenge only. Let's get serious about your success in 2024! Bill PS- If the PDF version of the book does not work for you, the paperback or the Kindle edition may be a better fit. You can find "The Notary Business Building Challenge," plus my five other books, including the latest on apostilles called, "Your Passport to Apsotilles," written with Judi Lawrence, on my Amazon author page at the link below. [Try Different Versions of the Book](  [Unsubscribe]( | Sent by NotaryCoach.com 1415 Commercial Avenue, #237 • Anacortes, WA • 98221

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
