{NAME}, What are you doing next month? Are you dying for a trip somewhere unique and interesting? Back in late 2020, I was fed up with the overtourism of Tulum and Playa del Carmen and road-tripped around Yucatán state with my friend, Max. There, I found an unexploited region of unvisited Mayan ruins, local-only cenotes (deep sinkholes with a pool found throughout Yucatán), and one of Mexico’s best food regions. So, when we were planning this year’s tours, taking you there was a no-brainer for us. History, food, culture, nature — the region has it all. [From April 15-23]( we’re going on an unforgettable journey all throughout the Yucatán peninsula and we want you to come along. Our itinerary is designed to take you off the beaten path and away from the typical tourist attractions to explore the [more local side of Mexico](. You'll be drinking cocktails in Mérida at my friend’s speakeasy, gazing at lesser-visited Mayan ruins, wandering through colorful towns, and swimming in cenotes. ¢Â€Â‹ You'll go to a pueblo magico called Izamal, a fully-yellow, small colonial city with less than 15,000 residents, where you’ll climb this amazing ruin and eat a hearty lunch. In Valladolid, you'll visit the off-the-beaten-path Mayan archeological site of Ek Balam, cool off in a nearby cenote, and stop in a town famous for mouth-watering smoked meat. You'll marvel at Chichén Itzá, Mexico's most visited archeological site and an absolute must-see! In the countryside, you’ll get to experience life at a Mexican hacienda. And we’ll ride a boat through the Ría Celestún Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO wetland best known for its low rainforests, dunes, entangled mangroves, and bird life (home to thousands of pink flamingos)! This trip takes you off the main tourist trail to experience the unique culture of Mexico’s Yucatán region. We’re going to visit markets, restaurants, bars, and sights I discovered as well as meet locals and learn the culture. If you’re hoping to go somewhere this spring, come with us. We’ll take care of everything for you. We only have FOUR spots left on this tour so if you’re looking for a last-minute trip to paradise, join us. And, if you use the code YESMEXICO, you can save [$425 off the price](! [Just click here to sign-up.]( It’s first come, first served. If you have any questions about this tour, let me know. Best, Nomadic Matt P.S. — If you’d like to check out other tours leaving soon, we still have a few spots available to explore [Morocco]( (April 22 - May 4), [Turkey]() (May 9 - 19), and [Romania]() (June 15 - 26).
