= {NAME}, Greetings from NYC! It's my birthday this week (June 12th) and I'll be turning the ripe old age of 43! The weather is supposed to be nice here in New York so my friends and I will have a relaxed picnic dinner. Nothing too wild or crazy. Just me, friends, wine, and food. Really, what more do you need? Then, in less than three weeks, I fly off to Europe for the summer. I haven't given much thought to the trip (though, since it is only three weeks out, I probably should start getting ready for it). Even though I've been to Europe a bajillion times, I'm really excited about this trip. I'm going to all new areas: Ibiza; Provence; Germany's Black Forest, Romantic Road, and Lake Constance; and then who knows! I'm not a big fan of planning multi-month trips so, while I have the first few weeks set in stone, most of the trip is up in the air. I'm thinking of visiting Latvia and Lithuania as I've never been to either country but we'll see where the wind takes me. I won't get edits back on my manuscript until the end of July so I finally have some time for other work projects. The team and I are revamping the site to make it easier to navigate ([you'll see the homepage is already different]() and I have some actual stories I'm writing for the blog! I'm also posting a lot more tips, reels, and stories on [Instagram](! I'm excited about all these things and can't wait to share some of the blog stories I'm working on! I think it's going to be a good summer ([as long as I don't get TB again lol](). Also, the elevated welcome offer for one of my favorite travel credit cards is ending on June 13th at 7am EST! It's the last call for this big offer! If you haven't picked it up yet, [check out my review of the card](. It's one of the best. TRIP PLANNING RESOURCES The summer travel season (for those in the northern hemisphere) is upon us!!
